BILL'S HOT MUSTARD STORY

Sometime in the mid-to-late 90's, I was making a sandwich for lunch and was thinking it would be great to have some hot mustard to spice it up. I decided to make a little bit of hot mustard just from some of the things I had around the house. I made a good deal of spicy foods, so I had plenty of ingredients to choose from. The small batch of hot mustard that I made was great and it really made the sandwich.
Later that week, I decided to make a larger batch of mustard so I would have some around whenever I needed it. I also made a few extra jars and gave some to a few friends. Everyone liked the mustard. One person ran out within a couple of weeks and he told me, “I use it on everything.... sandwiches, burgers, pork chops. You should start selling this hot mustard!”
I kept that thought in the back of my mind as I continued to make hot mustard and would give it away to friends and co-workers, all the while tinkering with the recipe. Over the years I have gotten the same comments from people who have tried Bill’s Hot Mustard. They told me, “You have got to start selling this hot mustard!”
I like it best on sandwiches, burgers, or brats. It is great for basting your meats when grilling or in a marinade. It also adds a kick when used in potato salad, or just try it as a dip for pretzels or veggies. When you try Bill’s Hot Mustard I know you will discover your own favorite use for it!
